DEAD HORSE #001
It’s been a long time in the works, but DEAD HORSE #001 is in preorder until MONDAY!
If you snag a copy before Monday, you’ll get a Digital Copy of the magazine FREE! Otherwise it’s an additional $5.
Dead Horse is a unfiltered dreamscape of dread, an unsettling melange of macabre, an unified pastiche of peril. Featuring the written and artistic works of scores of creative minds on the topic of Unsettling Horror.
Dead Horse is also my baby. I’m obsessed with it. And I more than anything want it to be HUGE.
This magazine promises to not only be a useful addition to your musty shelves, but a channel of dread to the innermost of those you share it with.
All profits gained from the sales of the magazine are divided equally amongst all those who contribute to that print issue. Receipts of the financial details are available here.
You can find details on all our contributors here — and know that ALL of them are to be praised for this work!
So be sure to pick up this preorder! Every single sale means more money in the pockets of those who participated, and make sure you stay tuned for new details, and submission guidelines for upcoming issues!
GUILD: Slow and Steady
It’s been a minute. But I’m waiting on the final final final proof back from Mixam. This project was really important to me, so I wasnt going to just print without seeing it in person—unfortunately that means I had to discover several weird font issues, and go through now three separate print proofs. This has added nearly 2 months to the print time. However—it SHOULD BE DONE. I am expecting the final proof this week, and if it looks good, I’m hitting print and never looking back.
After which, we’ll be preparing to publish our first supplemental addons in digital form starting with Magick and Monsters! So keep you sword hands ready for what we throw at you!
You can pick up the digital version of GUILD right now and that will give you a 40% off discount code for the print edition when it’s in stock! The Adventure Diary is the same—as well as all the addons. And you can find all your GUILD resources HERE, this page will be updated semi-regularly to include new publications, plaintext files, and more. And this website also has a RANDOM CHARACTER GENERATOR that is just too good.
So go fucking join the Guild why don’t you?
SPACE PENGUIN INK IS ALIVE
My good friend Jarrett Crader has finally launched his Imprint Space Penguin Ink and you better get your ass to that website SO fast. There’s some really good shit in the works at SPI, and while there’s only a few launch titles up for grabs today, you can absolutely expect some incredible shit soon.
Maybe you’ll even get Adrift off the Islets of Langerhans my first adventure in the Puck Sector—written for Mothership 1E.
Adrift is a classic fetch quest: the players are sent by Deluge Corp. to recover several important items and discover the fate of the Corp’s recent shipment being transported by the ship ‘Ilu IX. After a ruptured Jump drive created a miniature black hole in the confines of the ship, reality aboard the ‘Ilu IX stopped being a measurable quality. What they find inside might set a crew up for a lifetime of easy living... if they can get it out with their lives and sanity intact.
Within this 36-page adventure, you’ll find:
A ship on the verge of interdimensional collapse, Every room is constantly warping, shifting, and changing in countless ways.
Tessellations, a unique encounter system wherein PCs will experience mind-bending, reality-shifting, and even world-changing events.
The Farm, a hexcrawl-within-the-dungeoncrawl from a time and place far removed from the ‘Ilu IX.
The mystery of the missing crew: where, when, and in what form are they in now?
Old School ResistanceIt’s a cool embroidered patch for your jacket or bag. Let the chuds down at the LGS, and at Donnie’s Bar know they’re not welcome—I mean…a fist does better, but patches can give a nice heads up ;) Preorder it now or get it for $8 in a few weeks!
As always. I love you all. You’re all wonderful. You’re all dope as fuck. And you all make us feel really loved by supporting our work.
